tenk10 Home Automation Alerts

This policy explains what information tenk10.com collects through its SMS sign-up form and how that information is handled. tenk10 is a private home automation project operated by an individual property owner.
The only personal information we collect is the mobile phone number you submit on the sign-up form, together with the date and time of the submission and the IP address it came from. We do not collect names, email addresses, payment information, or location data, and we do not use advertising or analytics trackers on this site.
Phone numbers submitted through this site are used for one purpose only: to send home automation alerts to the account owner's own phone. These are transactional alerts about gate and garage door state, irrigation faults, and sensor threshold events. Submission logs are retained solely to troubleshoot the alerting system and to document consent.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your phone number or any other information you submit with third parties. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers are disclosed only to the SMS carrier and messaging provider strictly as needed to deliver the alert messages you have requested, and to no one else. We may disclose information if required to do so by law.
Phone numbers and submission logs are stored on a private server with access limited to the site operator. Records are kept only as long as needed to operate the alert system, and are deleted on request.
You can request removal of your phone number, or ask what information we hold about you, at any time by contacting alerts@tenk10.com. We will delete your number from our records promptly on request. You may also reply STOP to any message to stop receiving SMS alerts immediately.
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
