tenk10 Home Automation Alerts
tenk10 is a private, personal home automation project that monitors a single residential property and sends SMS alerts to the account owner's own mobile phone. The system watches driveway gate and garage door state (for example, a door left open after dark), reports irrigation faults such as a stuck valve or a missed watering cycle, and notifies the owner when environmental sensors cross configured thresholds — freezing temperatures, water leaks, sump pump activity, or a loss of utility power. Messages are transactional alerts about the owner's own equipment; this is not a commercial service, there is no marketing content, and no message traffic is generated for anyone other than the property owner.
